A Day in the Life
I drove by Burger King this morning on the way back from the airport, hoping to have someone else prepare my breakfast. I arrived at 7 on the dot and there was still a chain across the parking lot entrance. I pulled up a few feet, turned down the radio and asked the guard, "It opens at 8, doesn't it?" He said, "No, it opens at 7...7:10...7:30, they let me know when they're ready." "So, can I come in a park my car in the parking lot until they're open?" "Um...let me go ask..." So he did and let me in and then told me to wait in the car and then told me I could go inside the restaurant. Only in Latin America.

A quote
Props to Mr. Morrison for mentioning this one. Wonderful quote that I am not just yet willing to put up as one I intend to make my quote or a motto or anything, but one that deserves thought and discussion.
Whatever is the object for which men forsake Christ, that is the price at which Satan buys their souls.
I must admit, I get bought pretty cheap.

States I've visited.
I decided to only list those states I've actually spent a night in as qualifiers, so that, for example, I've driven through Arkansas and South Carolina, but as best as I remember, I've never spent a night.
Ohio was junior year winter drumline national competition. NY was senior trip. Minnesota and Illinois (Chicago) was with the Boy Scouts, as was New Mexico. West Virginia was as a counselor for a youth group ski trip. Maryland and NC are from college freshman year road trip (which incidentally, would've included South Carolina if Carowinds theme park was in Charleston, SC instead of Charlotte, NC [what? they look a lot alike!]...we spent the night in Savannah instead). All other places have multiple visits.
